Victorian stationery cabinet, fitted interior with three tiers of divided compartments with finger hole edges, enclosed by a pair of panel doors. 29.5 x 15.5 x 26cm (13¼” x 12” x 6” x 10") w x d x h. The cabinet has it's original key with tassle, the lock works but is very stiff, the doors close shut with a satisfying click. The doors open to reveal the compartments  containing an amount of original late 18th and early 19th century documents, there is also a William Mitchell Dip pen and an inkwell, the brass lid sits atop the inkwell rather than screwing onto it.
