We want to bring the quality of the past to your home, keeping the craftsmanship alive whilst reducing waste and the carbon footprint created by buying of newly manufactured items is the ethos behind every single thing we do.​
Who we are
We are John Wright and Ligia Turincio and we started our Beautiful England Facebook page to share things about England that we hoped other people might like to see. The project has now evolved with this Shop, offering vintage and antique things designed and created by talented artisans from the past that we can all afford to own and admire.
John Wright
I'm John, marketeer by training and former Managing Director of an art materials manufacturer. Author of the book "Powerful Business Rules, Extraordinary Results", and the face behind every single order and message from Beautiful Old England.
Ligia Turincio
I'm Ligia, qualified lawyer from Mexico; after marrying John and moving to the UK I developed a career in social media marketing and organising art exhibitions in London. I'm behind our marketing, social media and making your orders look beautiful
