Bible. "The Life of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ" in large quarto format by the Rev. John Fleetwood, D.D., published by A.H. Payne (Leipzig and Dresden) and J. Hagger (London), with all 32 coloured plates and published around 1860. The publishers issued richly illustrated works largely between 1855 and 1875. The book is clean and complete but with a detached front cover, marbled covers with marks and rubbed spine. Parallel English/German bilingual plate captions. The volume also includes, in addition to the main Gospel narrative, accounts of the evangelists, apostles, and early Christian martyrs.
