Superb antique condition. The burr walnut exterior has been beautifully preserved, showcasing a deep, mirror-like historic patina with only the minor superficial scuffs consistent with a well-loved heirloom. The internal silk and velvet are remarkably bright and free from major shattering. A museum-grade centrepiece for any collector of Victorian box work or social history.
