Original antique bond signed and sealed and dated 20th June 1740. This is a pro forma document with the details handwritten, it is signed sealed and also authorised by the payment of three six pence stamps impressed into the document in the top left hand corner. The document (folded) measures 30.5 x 19cm (12" x 7.5"). It opens out to double the size, the inside is blank but the reverse has, as was customary at the time, details of the content.

A unique and fascinating piece of history which would also make an interesting display piece. The sepia ink used is light sensitive so if framing please display under anti UV glass. Ephemera.
