A Victorian Jaques of London Staunton chess set c1880, complete but without it's box. The white king bears the 'Jaques London' stamp to the base and four pieces the red coronet stamp, one each white and black knight and castle, the white knight has lost the red but the imprint of the coronet remains clear. The set is complete and in very good condition with three faults noted, a repair to the black queen collar, a chip to one black pawn collar and wear to the black knight. The kings stand 3" in height.
