This volume features explanatory and useful notes drawn from the extensive commentary of Dr. Thomas Coke, a prominent figure of the Methodist movement and alumnus of the University of Oxford. Comprising both the Old and New Testaments, the text is bound in its heavy original period full-calf leather binding with raised bands and blind-tooled geometric framing.
 
An exceptional piece of Welsh printing history, retaining a remarkably clean text block with classic typography and marginal references. A treasured artifact for collectors of antiquarian Bibles, Welsh history, or historical theology.
 
Condition:
Period full leather binding showing expected age-related wear, scuffing, and rubbing to extremities, the covers are attached but slightly loose, the text block is solid and clean.
