A superb and historically significant 6-draw pocket telescope. This precision instrument was manufactured by Robert Mills of Islington & Pentonville, London, who proudly identifies on the engraving as the successor to the world-renowned Tulley family.

 

The Tulley name represented the absolute pinnacle of 19th-century optics, and this telescope continues that tradition of excellence. It is a masterpiece of miniaturisation, collapsing from a 38.8cm extended length to a mere 9.5cm—the perfect "gentleman’s accessory" for the Victorian traveler.
