An antique lacquered brass drum microscope circa 1880, it comes in it's original polished mahogany case with a padded red velvet lid interior and various objective lenses and slides. The slides are interesting and variously marked "Perch Scale", "Rice paper" and "Aster Bloom.
 
A nice clean example in good order.
 
The Microscope stands 21cm (8.25") high before being extended.
