An antique English lacquered brass microscope circa 1850, it comes in a French polished wooden case with a padded blue velvet lid interior and various objective lenses, slides and a tool. The microscope pinion is stripped and not working but the microscope can be easily adjusted manually if it is required as a functional item, however please note that it is untested. The case lid has some damage. The slides are interesting and variously marked "Section of Wood", "Hair of infant", "Tige de Rosier" (Rose Stem) and "Essuiles d'Eleagines" (Eleagine leaves).
The Microscope stands 26cm (10.23") high before being extended, 30cm (11.81") after being extended.
