A fascinating and mechanically complex piece of surgical history. This 20.5cm nickel-plated syringe features a sophisticated continuous flow valve system.

Designed for high-volume irrigation or use as a stomach pump, the instrument is marked with the letters 'A' (Aspiration/Intake) on the side nozzle and 'F' (Fixed/Exit) on the main nozzle. This allowed the practitioner to pump fluids continuously via a tube system—a vital advancement in emergency medical care and deep-wound debridement. The robust T-handle provided the necessary leverage for consistent pressure.

Condition Report:
Excellent antique condition. The nickel plating remains remarkably bright with only minor, age-appropriate wear. The internal valve mechanism is intact, and the T-handle operates, but stiffly. A high-quality "gadget" instrument for a serious medical collection.

Dimensions: 20.5cm (Length).
