The value of the loan, one hundred taels, equates to silver weighing approximately 3.75kg.

'Loan Agreement
Date: A selected day in March, Guangxu 30 (1904)
Lender: Tang Tin Fuk Bank, via Hong Kong Tong Yin Hao Silver Exchange
Borrower: Yu He Ji (裕和記)
We, the undersigned (Yu He Ji), hereby acknowledge receipt of a loan in the amount of one hundred taels of general-use silver (100 兩) from the Tang Tin Fuk Bank. This loan is issued through the Hong Kong Tong Yin Hao silver exchange office.
All terms of repayment have been agreed upon, and this document serves as the official lending record.'.
This agreement is sealed and confirmed by all involved parties.
Signed and stamped by the borrower, witnesses, and bank representatives.
