An antique black mother of pearl and seed pearl dress set buttons in their original box and complete with the securing rings. Each button face has a subtly different sheen which, for each, changes with the angle of incidence of the light. Black mother of pearl is an exotic variant of the more common white mother of pearl which being a natural material, in not uniform. Each button has a seed pearl, all are present. The case shows wear but functions perfectly well and closes with a positive click, the interior is silk and velvet lined. The case measures 12.5 x 5cm.
