Chess Set with Andorran gold plated coins dated 2006. This is a limited edition set and this example is number 408.

The chess pieces are genuine Andorran coins from the Mint of Andorra, the gold pieces being gold plated nickel, the reverse of each coin is a chess piece. The board comes in two pieces which neatly slot together, the squares each measure 3cm and are matt and gloss giving a subtle and very tasteful appearance. The set is new and unused and the coins have only ever been handled with white cotton gloves for the purposes of photography. The set is supplied in a robust black box and comes with a certificate of guarantee and confirmation of this item as a limited edition and a document of endorsement by World Chess Champion Vladimir Kramnik
