A pristine example of inter-war medical utility. This 7cm apothecary jar in an 8.4cm case is made of high-clarity clear glass and features its original precision-ground glass stopper. Designed for the organised 1930s medical professional, the base is clearly stamped with the mould number "20".

The jar is housed in its original tinned-steel protective case, the descending circular ridges allow the top to screw onto the base, a design used for field work and travel. The clear glass allows for immediate inspection of the contents, making it an ideal specimen for a medical cabinet display. A robust, functional, and well-preserved artifact.
