A beautiful well illustrated vintage book Old Carnations and Pinks by C. Oscar Moreton, wonderfully presented with bright crisp illustrations by Rory McEwen and an introduction by Sacheverell Sitwell. Printed in 1955 the book remains clean and tightly bound with some marks and wear to the cover, the book includes some typewritten notes on the subject, presumably by a previous owner as well as another colour plate. The book measures 34.7 x 23.2cm (13.5 x 9.5").
