Vintage syringe in a metal case with two glass containers with needles inside and a selection of medical cartridges (Viules). The set was made by Boots. The syringe is open on one side, the plunger pulls back against a spring allowing a Viule to be inserted which is then pushed onto a needle at the bottom by the pressure of the spring, piercing the seal and thus allowing the contents of the cartridge to be injected.
The syringe is marked "Boots Viule Syringe" and "Made in England".
The Viules have been emptied and cleaned and are marked as follows, there are 10 in total with multiple examples of each:
Injection of Atropine Sulphate
