National Geographic Magazine complete year 1938 bound in two books, volume I January-June, volume II, July to December. Half leather hardback, packed with colour and black and white illustrations with wide ranging subject matter. Tightly bound with clean text and illustrations, some scuff marks to spines. Volume I: 806 pages, volume II: 828 pages. The first volume features a pocket on the inside back cover which contains a large map of the British Isles, also included in volume I are 16 plates of marine subjects by the renown marine artist Norman Wilkinson. Volume II includes a map in the rear pocket of  'Reaches of the Nation's Capital" - Washington DC.

 

Each book measures 26 x 18.5cm (10.25" x 7.25").
