Antique animal farm horn trainers by Arnold & Son Veterinary during the mid 19th century. These trainers consist of lead weights attached to original leather straps and buckles. They were used to reshape the growth of animal horns, specifically by placing the weights on horns that were growing upwards to encourage them to grow downwards over time. Veterinary instrument.

Arnold & Son was a British manufacturer of veterinary and surgical instruments, notably recognised for their Royal Warrant and association with Savory & Moore and John Bell & Croyden. Established in 1819, they held premises in various locations in London, including Smithfield and Wigmore Street. The company produced a wide range of instruments, including those for dentistry, and even supplied items for military surgeons during World War I.
