Antique Thermometer. Antique medical instrument. This is a most unusual example being housed in a beautifully made Rosewood case with a very attractive grain. The case has shoulders below the cap to better facilitate firm grip when unscrewing but the the cap screws on and off freely and easily. The Thermometer is graduated from 95 to 110 and so designed to monitor body temperature, it is marked in an interesting freehand style script "Guaranteed London make A L & Co".
 
The Thermometer case measures 11.3cm (4.45") in length.
 
The case is in excellent condition the Thermometer unbroken but appears to no longer function being stuck at 104.
