An antique brass scholars microscope in it's wooden case. This is a monocular microscope, delicately engineered in brass and finished in lacquer, the depth of field is adjusted by pulling the eyepiece upwards in it’s brass sleeve. The case includes three small slides, one marked 'Salt', another 'Potassium Nitrate' and the third is blank
 
The Microscope stands 15.5cm (6") high 17.5cm (6.89") when extended, the case 18 x 8.5cm (8" x 3.35").
