An antique Pelvimeter dating from around 1920 by W. H. Bailey and Son of London. W. H. Bailey and Son traded from Oxford Street in London from 1880 until 1890.

Pelvimetry is the measurement of the female pelvis. It can theoretically identify cephalo-pelvic disproportion which is when the capacity of the pelvis is inadequate to allow the foetus to negotiate the birth canal. The medical measurement scale records the pelvic width in inches.
