A hand carved antique bone chess set of hand carved and turned pieces dating from the late 19th century and supplied in a wooden Bollinger Champagne bottle box. The white chess pieces are natural bone and the red, dyed bone. The Kings stand 78mm (3.07") high. The chess set is complete, one white pawn is associated, being marginally smaller than the others.
