Antique Trocar and Cannulae set. Antique surgical instrument. There are three Trocars and Cannulae in this unit, nesting together and interchangeable. Trocars are used to puncture areas in the body to release build ups of fluid or gas, the Cannulae act as an anti bacterial sheath for the Trocar to protect against infection. The closed item measures 11cm (4.25") in length. This is a delicate and beautifully engineered item with engine turned external decoration.
